Throw Kindness Around Like Confetti

I don’t know about you, but my life gets crazy busy! Sometimes before I know it, it’s been weeks since I’ve seen my girlfriends or days since I’ve responded to their texts (YIKES….I’m the worst)! So I wanted to come up with an inexpensive and thoughtful way to show them that despite the day to day cray, I am thinking of them.  I decided to pair a sweet little gift with a thoughtful card that I filled with inside jokes and all of the reasons why I am so grateful for my friends.  This really isn’t much of a DIY, it’s more of a reminder to do something sweet for your friends.

Things you will need:

Greeting cards (I get tons of fun cards from my Happy Mail subscription check it out!)

Washi Tape, Glitter, Stickers (You can use this stuff to decorate your envelopes)

Ribbons, bakers twine, string

Scissors

Different types of small gifts.  I like to gift things that I wouldn’t normally buy for myself.  I added some of my favorite gifting items below.

Step 1: Pick a special card that fits your friend best!

I get a monthly subscription of Happy Mail  from A Beautiful Mess.  It includes tons of adorable cards, stickers, notecards and more.

Step 2: Decorate your envelopes with washi tape and stickers.  Just have fun with it!

Step 3: Pick something special to add to the greeting card.  I like to gift my favorite inspirational books, fancy scented soaps or gourmet chocolate bars.

These Tocca Bar Soaps smell heavenly and I am obsessed with this grapefruit SavOn de Marseille soap!

IMG_9731Unfortunately, these Compartes Chocolate Bars (the Salty Malty is my fave!) have turned my boyfriend jeans into skinny jeans.  So I guarantee they will love them!

Step 4: Fill out your cards then pair them with a gift.

Step 5: Attach the gift to your card using ribbons, bakers twine, etc.

IMG_9673My favorite book right now is Girl Code by Cara Alwill Leyba If you aren’t already following her, do so! Check out her blog CaraAlwill.com then stalk her on all of her social media like I do.  You won’t be disappointed!
