Christmas is definitely by far my absolute favorite holiday! My fondest memories of Christmas were when, my grandma would craft Christmas gifts for her friends. She would lock herself in her craft room for hours. Thinking of grandma and her crafty ways inspired me to craft something festive. That’s when I decided these Dollar Store antlers needed a little something extra. You can’t go wrong with a two pack of antlers for $1.
Things you will need:
Plain antlers (I got a 2 pack for $1 from Dollar Tree)
Ribbon (different varieties and textures)
Ostrich Feather Trim
My absolute favorite ribbon is the snowflake ribbon that I found at Paper Source in Pasadena.
Tip: I took a broken necklace and snipped off the beautiful gems to use them on our antlers.
Step 1: Lay out all of your trims, ribbons, etc to get inspired. Before you start gluing stuff on the antlers, try different ideas to see what looks best to you.
Step3: Your “Fancy AF Antlers” are ready to go out!
I made this one with black ostrich feather trim and 2 gems (off of my broken necklace)
My friend Amy made this beauty. She used snowflake ribbon, pearls, and a piece of fur trim. So perfect!
If you do this project I would love to see it. Post it on your Instagram and add #idiyforthis I can’t wait to see what you all create!!
